Critical Care RN for 18 years and as a surgical ICU nurse, Linda gained a deep understanding of the human suffering brought on by chronic and life threatening illnesses. This has informed her sense of empathy for those suffering from grief and loss.
High School AP History Teacher for 10 years have provided her with real world insight, which sets her apart from other therapists in understanding gifted teens as well as at-risk adolescents. Linda engages with teens struggling with self-esteem and identity issues. She is well aware of the challenges teens face today because she worked extensively with students who experienced academic performance anxiety, behavioral issues, and ADHD.
Prior to entering into private practice, Linda worked in community mental health where she acquired experience providing therapy to those suffering from grief and loss.
