Works closely with couples, families, individuals, children, and adolescents with a variety of mental health issues. Her experience includes working with victims of trauma, domestic violence, using art therapy, play therapy, and mindfulness. Has also provided training to other therapists in the areas of crisis counseling and intervention, risk assessment, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, play therapy, and other various therapeutic modalities. Critical Care RN for 18 years and as a surgical ICU nurse, Linda gained a deep understanding of the human suffering brought on by chronic and life threatening illnesses. This has informed her sense of empathy for those suffering from grief and loss.
High School AP History Teacher for 10 years have provided her with real world insight, which sets her apart from other therapists in understanding gifted teens as well as at-risk adolescents. Linda engages with teens struggling with self-esteem and identity issues. She is well aware of the challenges teens face today because she worked extensively with students who experienced academic performance anxiety, behavioral issues, and ADHD.
Prior to entering into private practice, Linda worked in community mental health where she acquired experience providing therapy to those suffering from grief and loss. In addition, she also led parenting classes and anger management classes and worked with LGBTQ populations at the LGBTQ Center of Long Beach.
She currently works with individuals dealing with anxiety and depression as well as families, couples, and teens.

Rose is a Professor of Psychology and Women's Studies at Cal State Long Beach. She also holds a License in Marriage, and Family Therapy, specializing in individual, family and couples counseling, and maintains a private practice in Long Beach, California.
With over 20 years experience as an individual and couples counselor, she is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise include post-partum depression, relationship counseling issues, parenting issues, and working with those experiencing depression and anxiety.
In addition to being a prominent relationship therapist, Dr. Rose Hanna has presented at National conferences and to general audiences speaking on the topics of marital success and parenting. In addition, she is a lecturer at California State University, Long Beach. She teaches in both the Psychology department and Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies.
